Jackson was a media created superstar in his adult life through his videos, and that's all that anyone cares about.

And on those that influenced Jackson, I would like to add Frankie Lymon, who led the Teenagers to numerous hits as a little kid, only to succumb to a drug overdose as a young man. He was the first kid superstar in rock 'n roll--a mix of Jackie Wilson, and Sammy Davis Jr. — but he was washed up by the time he was 13.Larryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13163421362475667551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-855858170324181302.post-9025104094724259172009-07-07T09:42:45.882-07:002009-07-07T09:42:45.882-07:00Dear Bobb:

The "where he is going" phrase can be taken in various ways, so I thought it was a good way to put a cap on the rant. Again, this is my personal opinion, so you have every right to speak your mind here.Larryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13163421362475667551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-855858170324181302.post-86112801628025395582009-07-07T07:31:27.970-07:002009-07-07T07:31:27.970-07:00I was never a fan, the networks are going overboar...I was never a fan, the networks are going overboard with the coverage because of the ratings.
I think people are forgetting the real heroes of black music who crossed the line into the white music world and made real changes, James Brown (whom Michael Jackson stole his moves from), Chuck Berry (the real King of Rock and Roll), Little Richard and on and on.
To me was just a Pop/Media "star" and had a twisted private life that went public.
Bury him already.Drakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05976371904886616699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-855858170324181302.post-69297506429500132762009-07-07T06:02:35.194-07:002009-07-07T06:02:35.194-07:00With all due respect, who are you or me or anyone ...With all due respect, who are you or me or anyone to judge where Jackson is going?bobbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06841867760313797450noreply@blogger.com
